On 30.12.2021, the traditional blitz tournament for the end of the year was held (round robin, 11 rounds, 3 min + 2 sec).
Doyens of Shumen chess, coaches, former and current pupils from the club, strong fans from the city took their part in the event. As usually happens, at these New Year’s tournaments in a friendly atmosphere, youth and experience met, and all participants played to their heart’s content and experienced the whole range of emotions.
Traditionally, there were prizes for all participants, and after a contested fight, the following ranking was formed:

4. Boris Ivanov – 8.5 points
5. Antoniy Dimov – 7 points
6. Stanislav Maryanov – 6 points

8. Boryana Dimitrova – 5 points
9. Nikolay Petkov – 3.5 points
10. Magdalena Stoyanova – 2 points
11. Kaan Tefikov – 1.5 points 12. Georgi Georgiev – 0 points
